This work is inspired by the epic and long journey of Gilgamesh in search of eternal life. The contrasting deep orange and black set against a backdrop of flashes of blue and grey, setting up an aloof scene, like a pass through a perilous landscape, symbolizing the struggle and willpower to achieve eternity.
