This artwork is both serene and morbid. People have throughout time been lead for what they believe to be just causes, but what when ‘blind lead the blind’? A thin veil hides the bodies, with only the rough bold feet being visible. Crusade is inspired by soldiers being led to the battle for what is believed to be right. The power of blindly going together is a powerful force, but the what is the line between just sacrifice and obscenity?
