In this work Rosalinde Bakker tries to catch the essence of harvesting. She is inspired by the vivid and immense lush of harvest, a feast in agricultural societies giving energy and fulfilment. She used a linen canvas and acrylic paint. The acrylic paint is used in normal and fluid form and the top layer is made of oil paint in a bright golden yellow. She used a variety of brushes and painting techniques to create this work of art full of dynamic and life.
